Flea collars

Anyone use flea collars?

I have 4 cats and struggle (in terms of remembering, rather than financially) to keep up with putting pricey potions from the vet on them every 4 weeks.

Which fleas collars do you use? Do you buy online? Noticed that Pets at Home have flea collars, supposedly prescription type, locked in glass cabinets by the till Hmm

They don't work (although I think I did hear about a prescription type one but a) it's probably expensive and b) I may have dreamt it).

I'm afraid with fleas there really is no avoiding the expensive type potions from vets as you put it. Although you can by Advantage online which would probably be cheaper.

The only one that works is a prescription only product Seresto, which does fleas and ticks I have found it excellent and it lasts for 8 months. Which makes it cheaper per month than any the useless over the counter products.

Well you do need a wholesale solution in your household, issey. How many have you got at the moment?

PS - that would be including fosters/kits.
