The litter tray

Conservatory smells of cat pee

I can't see ant puddles

I have a rug and a wooden toy storage unit in there plus a dinning table -I'm going to have to scrub the lot aren't I?

Any puddles, not ant puddles!

You can get implements (black light devices) to track down the pee and also super stuff which will zap the smell. Other posters may have the links.

More importantly - who is doing it and how are they getting in ? Do you have any ideas?

It's one of mine, he's had a bladder infection -now better but I'm having an issue with getting him to use the litter tray(s) again

I've seen him using them in the last couple of days so I'm thinking its probably a few days old which makes me sound like a right slattern but its not a room we use that much at this time of year

Other posters may be able to steer you towards other ones which may represent better value.

If there's a lot of pee around, I'd nonetheless be wondering if you had an intruder or, say, a mean tom hanging around outside and making him nervy/spray. I'm assuming he's neutered (?) but does he go outside at all? And if so does he use a cat flap?

It could be interesting seeing where he's peeing when you eventually find out.

Both my cats are neutered and spend time outside but he's a bit of a homebody, doesn't stray far and only generally goes out for an hour or so

No cat flap -they have humans, what do they need one of those for? Lol

I've not seen any big toms about but my 2 are quite social, there is a little ginger cat that comes calling for them and the 3 of them sit up on the shed roof

Think I've discovered the smell though -where one of the litter boxes is there is a wooden unit next to it -it looks like one if them has missed the litter tray and weed on the unit which is currently in the back garden having been washed down in bio washing powder and I've bleached and then steam cleaned the floor where the unit was and all along the skirting on that side -hopefully that's done the trick

Now debating a covered litter box but I've heard in multi cat houses they don't get used much
