..your cat's later than usual coming home, your phone beeps and you fleetingly think "Oh that's probably him!"

..you lie in bed in a room so cold you can see your breath, feet freezing, while your kitties snuggle into the only hot water bottle in the house..

Anyone else have slightly skewed priorities?? Grin

Our old blind cat sits on the arm of DH's armchair from about 10pm and fixes him with a really hard gaze, it's then only a matter of time before DH gets up and moves to our saggy old sofa so that the cat can have his chair, he's always into it like a shot & settling down for a snooze Grin

I have a permanently bruised boob. Mine likes to skick her nose near my armpit and paddy my boob.

I also sometimes have to stop reading and go to sleep because she has decided to sleep between me and the reading lamp in bed.

You feel odd in new clothes because there isn't any cat hair on them. Grin lint rollers can only do so much

You decide not to hoover one room because the cats are in there and you don't want to disturb them.

You have insomnia and when your DH makes his very, very nice move, you decide to go downstairs and cuddle with the cat n MN. Blush

I didn't hoover the whole upstairs yesterday cos the cats were sleeping - in two separate bedrooms, and they're terribly sensitive you know, so I couldn't do the other bedroom, bathroom, or even the landing. The stairs themselves were a gamble, tbh.

I think you should stop vacuuming full stop, just to be on the safe side.

when you think they are answering your questions. End up having a full blow convo with the three of them... i get more response from them than the MR :P

You have 2 cats and think well 3 can't be that bad, and then 4 can't be much worse, well I won't notice one more, well I suppose I can take one more in. DH says 6 is enough.

What's surprising is the ones that drive me mad are the eldest two. Conversations go "No, you've just been fed, I'm not feeding you again. Oh, for god's sake fine but you'll be getting your tea late". Who am I kidding.

When you go shopping, and your budget is a little lean that week, you go without but the cats still get their treats (and a new toy).
