Oh dear! I have been at my family's for 2 nights and had to leave the two cats here. After much agonising I decided to leave the catflap open, even though they've never stayed out all night. Obviously had a friend come and feed them both days.

Tortie girl was overjoyed to see me when I got home last night and dribbled into my top for about an hour.
Ginger boy was not home.... he eventually strolled in at 5:30am, leaped onto my bed and promptly turned his back on me. I stoked him and ticked his chin but the little sod would NOT purr. This morning he's ignored his favourite rattly ball and just keeps giving me baleful stares...

How long is this going to last?!

As long as you allow yourself to be manipulated, basically! Ignore it and get back into their routine.

Boycat is most put out because we were away last night and brought a a baby home with us (ds home from scbu).

Oh congratulations, madrat! Grin

cozie point taken. I might just go and pick him up and give him a huge cuddle until he cheers up or has my hand off

Give him some tuna, I find bribery usually works!

Haha, I am forgiven. He was sleeping on the heated washing rail (on my clean washing - another "F You!") and I stroked him until he padded my nose. I was even permitted a belly rub though admittedly that did turn into a teeth and claws fest!
The other one's home now too and they're both dozing in the sunshine while I have a hot mulled cider. All good Grin
