Am sitting right now watching my cat eat green beans with great relish! He also enjoys partaking of vegetable curry and baked beans. (I don't give him these, he just steals them at any opportunity).

Curry, she loves it

BlingLoving · 06/09/2013 21:08

Coffee grounds.

BigcatLittlecat · 06/09/2013 21:09

Broad beans are the equivalent of cat crack in our house!

BlingLoving · 06/09/2013 21:13

He's also partial to a little banana bread!

Iheartcrunchiebars · 06/09/2013 21:18

Twiglets. Cats love them.

readyforno2 · 06/09/2013 21:20

When I was growing up my cat loved salt and vinegar crisps.
He was surprisingly fussy about cat foods though

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 06/09/2013 21:21

Mushrooms. Sweetcorn. Cheese.

bumpybecky · 06/09/2013 21:30

ours loves curry too :)

he eats all sorts of funny things: scones, doughnuts, spaghetti, chocolate spread sandwiches, mashed potato, naan bread, chips

he's nearly 18 but has had to have several teeth extracted!

SchrodingersFanny · 06/09/2013 21:32

Curry, baked beans and porridge. And I make my porridge with water, so it isn't the milk!

out2lunch · 06/09/2013 21:32

we had one that used to jump up and wait for the melon seeds from a honeydew melon

Honsandrevels · 06/09/2013 21:32

My old cat used to try and lick the ear wax out of my ears Shock

lottiegarbanzo · 06/09/2013 21:35

Melon, she was obsessed and would eat chunks.

Nagasaki · 06/09/2013 21:37

Mine won't eat human food at all. Turns his nose up at roast chicken, scoffs the Tesco own cat muck...

SchrodingersFanny · 06/09/2013 21:37

Our old cat loved real coffee. She would rub her face against the cup like it was catnip. Not instant coffee though!

Theincidental · 06/09/2013 21:39

My old boy loved marmite on toast and popcorn! His brother (still alive) is a fussy fanackapants and only eats fish. Simply no fun!

out2lunch · 06/09/2013 21:40

my Siamese flosses his teeth with the orange satsuma net

3 cats and the dog fight over the fairy cake cases

soontobeslendergirl · 06/09/2013 21:40

My cat wont eat anything now except cat food - she turns her nose up at fresh fish, chicken, duck etc and even tinned tuna. She did like Strawberry yoghurt and porridge as a kitten.

My mums cat always loved crisps and my brother's liked oranges.

Blackcathaireverywhere · 06/09/2013 21:41

Plastic bags...yum, yum, yum. Plastic packaging is good too as is a bit of yummy ribbon.

Nagasaki · 06/09/2013 21:41

Oh yes! Plastic bags. Which I later find in a wee puddle of sick between my toes Hmm

Blackcathaireverywhere · 06/09/2013 21:54

Oh good...at least blackcat isn't the only odd cat! He loves Gap and M&S especially but not keen on the supermarket bags Grin

Nagasaki · 06/09/2013 21:58

Cat has a preference for the Next courier bags. The blue ones. Well, that's what I'm guessing they are from the vom piles...

crazyhamsterbackatlast · 06/09/2013 22:03

One of my cats loves scones but they have to be fresh Confused

My other cat loves pork scratchings & crisps , we often sit sharing some

Ribbon, rope, string etc. but her favourite is stealing cotton wool soaked with cleanser/toner or baby wipes from the bin and sucking them. Shock

Have to be so careful to put them in a sealed bin. I dread to think what damage she could do with those chemicals!!

thecatneuterer · 06/09/2013 22:11

One of mine thinks she's a veggie. She loves vegetable soup, and boiled vegetables of any kind really, and baked potato. In fact more or less anything I leave on my plate she'll eat (and I'm a veggie). She doesn't seem that keen on cat food at all (and I can't say I blame her!).

I sometimes wonder if it's because when she was starving on the streets she had to eat anything and sort of got a taste for it then, or if that's just the way she is.

AthelstaneTheUnready · 06/09/2013 22:15

Bees. And grapes. Mice front legs, but not mice back legs. Roast chicken but emphatically not roast turkey.
