Cat vomiting after food mostly

One of my cats did this. I think it's a combination of having a sensitive stomach, and she definitely gets constipated if she has too much dry food, which also then makes her vomit.

After much experimenting she does fine on a mixture of Vet's Kitchen dry food and encore cans and gourmet perle pouches. All v expensive of course! But no daily cat sick.

I think it's often a trial and error exercise, to see what suits your cat, but those particular foods seem v gentle on sensitive stomachs. HTH

One of my female cats does this. It seems to be if she eats too quickly and regurgitates a little back.

I changed their food to James wellbeloved dry and butchers classic wet. Both are grain free. Whilst jwb is expensive it does seem to suit them better. Butchers classic is grain free and also has no sugars like the others. Plus its a damn sight cheaper than similar posh foods smile

Molly still is sick a little every now and then, but my vet assured me nothing is wrong. Some cats are sickier than others!

If you do change food you must do it slowly, or you will find yourself cleaning up both ends :D

I think Fluffycloudland has a cat who is grain intolerant and she has to use certain foods only. She'll likely be around this evening, I reckon.

Have a nearly two year old cat who has been vomiting (not continuously) for several months usually after eating or a few hours after eating. She has been checked by the vet several times now and appears to be ok apart from this. I think it is the food she is eating, she has biscuit as well as wet food equally but I think I need to be thinking about a 'limited Ingredient' type of wet food. I have been reading about ingredients in your usual supermarket bought brands and most contain grain and ash. Does anybody have any experience of cats with very sensitive stomachs who could offer me some advice?

I am looking at different brands now but just not sure which one as haven't finished researching yet. She has just puked again so will cook her some tuna steak later to see if this helps. Thanks in advance.
