I recently changed my cats food from dry to wet as one wasn't really eating much of the dry (very old and thin) and it was to try and get her to eat again. Unfortunately she has since died but the remaining cat also seems to prefer pouches so we're going to keep her on them with some biscuits to nibble on.
Are any wet foods better than others for older cats? She's 15 and in good health so no particular dietary issues.
I do know that whiskas and felix do special senior pouches, but I think they may be a bit junky to be honest but maybe as a treat. The gourmet brand products do a pate range which is good for older cats as very easy to eat I think they are in a gold box.
