For my poor little old 16 year old boy.

I already know in my heart he won't be with us this afternoon. We soul searched last night and I know it is the right thing but I feel plain awful at the moment.

And dh has just text to tell me he is gone and that he was really brave despite being terrified of vets. I am having a good old sob upstairs. Poor old puss.

So sorry for you. Hope DH is home soon so you can have a real hug.

Have a virtual one for now

Thanks. I know we have done the right thing, he barely ate anymore and was a bag of bones but it doesn't make it any nicer. I couldn't bear to go anyway but ds has started with chicken pox last night.

Really sorry for you, it is such a heartbreaking decision to make. Sad

Thanks everyone. I still feel sad (and I'm sure we will for a while) but I have pulled myself together now. Just the thumping headache I have given myself to contend with now.

I am glad it is over really, I didn't want him to get any worse.
