The litter tray

Smelly Bark

Wandered if anyone else had this. We did our garden up and put bark inbetween plants etc...the cat has now taken to using it as his litter tray - particularly in the corner which is starting to smell and waft along the lawn. The garden is not massive and we are having a party soon and I am worried people will notice.

Any thoughts/suggestions?

Be grateful you didn't post this in AIBU or Chat. The amount of people complaining about their neighbour's cats soiling their gardens you would be told it is your cat so therefore it should be your garden they use for their toileting.

Do you know where your cat was using before this started?

The usual initial advice is the following: pepper dust, tin foil, twigs/sticks poked into the ground, citrus fruit and lion poo (available at all good garden centres!). I have always had a litter tray just outside the cat flap.

Hope this is of some help.

Good luck.
