we got 2 cats 2 years ago, one was neutered the other we were told was male turned out to be female and had a litter. anyway we got homes for 3 and kept 1 male kitten. he was very bossy and would chase the two bigger cats away from food and stuff. sadly since easter our 2 female cats have disapeared. we live in the country and there was no sign of them having been knocked down they seem to have left of their own accord. i am convinced he bullied them away. but to get to my point, he is very aggressive he doesnt bother the older dc and they pet him amd play but he will take a run and hurl his whole body at dd who is 18 months and just starting to walk. he knocks her over. today he jumped up at her and scratched her. she does not pull at him or do anything to anooy him she is afraid of him. is this normal male cat behavior?

He sounds full of beans and maybe trying to play? Are you sure its aggression?

is he neutered? I read once that cats have a matriachal (sp) society structure and kick the males out when their old enough because they are too feisty.

He could just be a very strong willed cat who likes a tear up. My cat doesnt know how to play without claws either. Its practice hunting dont forget.
