We've been given an opporunity to emigrate to Australia, but unfortunately this means rehoming our four cats.
Has anyone done this before? What's the best way of getting the home our cats deserve? Our neighbour had said she'll take one of them (the cat practically lives there anyway). One of or cats is very territorial, so we will try and rehome him separately as he doesn't get on with the others, but that still leaves our other two cats.
My fear is that we'll have to hand them over to the local cat's re homing centre the day before we fly, but that would totally break my heart. I'm in tears just thinking about it.
If anyone knows of anyone that could take any of my 3 cats, I would be so grateful if they could get in touch. We're in Bingley, West Yorkshire.
George is the territorial 2 year old. Max is 11 and Tilley is 5 and should really be homed together. All of them are vaccinated, wormed, neutered and quite lovely. :)
