She is 14 and on Wed night started howling and had a massive fit, while she was fitting she passed lots of blood. I took her straight to the vet where her temp was really low and she continued fitting and was stuggling to breathe.

She has had fluids via a drip and is slowly improving, the vet is adament it's poisoning but there is nothing in this house that would poison a cat, she doesn't go outside and my other cat is fine. Anyone experienced a poisoned cat beore?

Could it be antifreeze? Cats like that (apparently it's sweet) but it's toxic.

There's likely to be antifreeze lying around somewhere near you at the moment.

No the vet did mention it but I keep mine in the garage and due to her arthritis she can't go outside.

I have no lilies or poinsetta which are both toxic in fact I have no plants apart from herbs and catnip. I keep all cleaning stuff in cupboards.

8 years ago I lost my lovely boy to cardiomyopathy and fluid build up when he was 8 ears old. I'm sure she will be much missed.
