What to wear on a splash pad??

Hi all,

What do you recommend for a splash pad? One with jets but not actually a pool or anything??
I've got a 4 year old and 2 year old twins. Something water resistant like a wet suit and like a swimming bag or shorts and t-shirt that are ok to get wet and then put in a carrier bag??

Thanks

We have two nearby.

Some families go prepared with towels and others seem like tourists who see it in passing and let their children in. Quite often children just go in in their normal clothes and then get wrapped up in a towel or an adult’s coat to go home in. Some get stripped down to pants first.

A few wear swimwear or similar. I don’t think I’ve ever seen any children in a wetsuit but plenty in eg a rashie top and shorts.

Ok

So I'm thinking top/shorts and some of those wet scuba shoes - just because I had a serious injury running round a swimming pool when I was younger so I'm over cautious now with slipping 😬
