Was talking with friends about going away for a week next year on the cheap. Looking at conservation holidays in Scotland anyone done one? A week in a fantastic location for around 120 pounds......... do you get some free time or will you be working most of the day though I guess there will be trips to the pub (hopefully) in the evening? Quite fancy it will be good exercise working outdoors and a chance to meet some cool people? I also love Scotland.

All the holidays seem to be signed up for this year so they look popular.

If you're still looking for an eco friendly holiday, we the charity Buglife are offering £300 worth of Forest Holidays vouchers as the first prize in our online Easter raffle!

Forest Holidays cabins are set in 9 different and beautiful forest locations in the UK, including Ardgartan Argyll, Strathyre, Sherwood Forest, and Forest of Dean.

Forest Holidays are an eco-friendly choice. They build and manage their sites to sit in harmony with their natural surroundings and go to great lengths to continually improve our eco-friendliness and reduce our carbon footprint.

The holidays appeal to all ages and a whole range of activities are on offer including canoeing, cycling and forest ranger activities.

Tickets are only £1 and can be purchased here: raffles-online.com/buglife/Home.aspx

All proceeds raised go towards invertebrate conservation, so thank you and good luck!
