Snoring dog

Does anyone have a dog that snores? We're looking after a friends dog and she snores like a drunk old man. She snorts when she breathes and always seems like she is gasping for breath. She's a King Charles cavalier. Is this common?
Our dog doesn't snore at all (yet).

Yep! Staffy cross and she snores like a bear. She woke me up last night and she sleeps downstairs.
My old man didn't when he was her age but got progressively worse as he got older.
God knows what she will be like in 10 years time.
If it isn't the dog, it's DH.

Yes! My Cavapoo snores like a diesel train! She sleeps on the landing so we all hear her. But tbh it's just white noise to us now, we're used to be it . 😆🐾

A friend of mine woke up and was about to grumpily dig her husband in the ribs to stop him snoring.

Then she realised it was the dog, and went 'Aw, how cute!' Smile

Yes 2 out of 4 of mine snore terribly and have done since they where small. As a consequence they sleep in the boot room while the other 2 sleep under my bed.

Same here. I often feel like smothering DH with a pillow when he snores, but find my dog's snoring adorable.

Mine snores when he's in a really deep sleep! It's pretty normal.

The cats snore too Grin

My dog didn't snore for the first year after being rehomed to me.

I like to think she does now because she's so much more relaxed.
