Chicken free Foods for sensitive Dog

So my 8 month old Newfie cross has always been a bit picky and always had a sensitive tummy. She's been on a few different foods, but we finally found one that worked for her in AVA large breed puppy food. But over the last month, there's been patches of flakey skin, itchy ears and dull fur appearing. Her stools are fine, but she's clearly a little uncomfortable and I want her fur lovely and glossy again. She's always been on grain free food so I'm hoping to stay with that, but I'm trying to eliminate chicken since Newfies are prone to being bad with it.

Has anyone got recommendations for grain free, dry food without chicken as the protein? So far I've found Millie's Wolfheart which looks good.

Akela, Aatu, Millies, Canaghan, Eden, Orijen - I think they all do grain & chicken free varieties. Millies is good, as are the others. And is probably the cheaper of them without being any less quality for it.

Just a quick word, though: allergies and intolerances can be to anything, so it may not be chicken or may not just be chicken. I think chicken gets suspected a lot because it's such a common ingredient (cheap, low calories, high protein) so more dogs get more chances to develop intolerances to it.

If it is chicken it's worth studying treat ingredients as I've often seen it as a minor ingredient (e.g. poultry fat or gravy).

Thank you both! Very good point about treats, I never check their ingredients really. I'll have a look into all the suggestions. Might order a mini pack of the Millie's if it's decent and use it for training treats to see if she goes for it.

A lot of the Millie's do have poultry in, so I'm thinking if she's still a flakey itchy thing after swapping to a mix with Duck or Turkey, the next step is trying one without any birds in.
