Indestructible chew toy!

Having a nightmare, we've rehomed a 9 month spaniel but he destroys toys in 5 mins. I bought a great & small toy today that was meant to be strong but he'd ripped the edge off in minutes. He doesn't chew shoes or our stuff so I just want him to have something which will keep him occupied.

kongs? The black one is pretty indestructible and we have a kong tyre that you can fill with paste or treats

How about a Kong that you can smear peanut butter inside? I have a staffie and there is no such thing as an indestructible toy but he hasn't killed his Kong yet!

And on to say Kong. It's helping hugely with seperation anxiety.

We put Asda chicken paste in ours and it stops him howling. He only gets to have it when we go out which isn't much at the min bit so far it is unmarked!

As the despairing owner of a ‘Superchewer’, I can tell you that there isn’t one. There isn’t a chew proof bed either despite some companies making a lot of money selling them Grin. But agree with PPs Kongs are worth a try, not indestructible but do last a bit longer .

Thanks for the replies.

Good news is my toy is being refunded!

We've got a kong but he's not that interested in the shape of it, he seems to want a stick/bone shape. Maybe if I put something meaty on the kong it'll encourage him to use it more!

My spaniel is also a super chewer. We've found antlers and yakkers both last a while and keep him busy.

@Tournesol we bought a yakker today. He's getting through it but it is keeping him amused! Thanks for the suggestion
