What is your dogs favourite toy?

Madam will play with just about any toy (she usually pinches little shits toys too if little shit starts to play with anything) but madams ultimate favourite toy is this ball.

She carries it around everywhere and occasionally tries to bark with it whilst in her mouth, which is hilarious.

Currently? A cardboard box, a nice solid one for a good gnaw.

And the broom, which is left carefully positioned as if someone has read the health and safety assessment and done exactly the opposite of what was advised.

She is only a pup though, so there's hope!

A fluffy roast turkey with detachable drumstick legs that he got as part of last years Christmas present , he plays with it several times a day and has since Christmas . His absolute favourite things are balls but he’s not allowed those in the house as he is too annoying when he’s got one .He has a toy box indoors that he helps himself to and the turkey comes out everyday .

We get annoyed with the ball to

She brings it to me to throw, and then chases after it like a loony.

But....here’s the kicker. If I was to take the ball on a walk, she has no interest at all in fetching it Hmm

On walks he carries a ball even if we are somewhere he can’t go offlead to actually play with it , he’s completely obsessed . I doubt he would be interested in his turkey if I took it out of the house .

Tennis balls. Always tennis balls.

My dog is 13. He has a small knitted bear that he pinched when he was a puppy and it is his favourite thing. He also love socks.

The other two have bones and a couple of balls but they're not really bothered unless one has it and the other wants it.

Ddog refuses to acknowledge that anything made from rubber or plastic is a toy - She only likes soft fluffy ones. She can pick up her toys and put them away in the basket, but if I put a rubber toy or a ball out she will ignore it completely and look at me as if I'm nuts when I ask her to tidy it up. Her absolute favourite is a cuddly moose with big antlers, he's had surgery a few times already and I dread the day he gives up the ghost!

Mr Bee. It’s bigger than she is, DD chose it when we were buying things for the dog before we got her. I thought it was a ridiculous choice for a tiny dog but DD was so convinced she’d love it I bought it. Well I was proved wrong, the dog has lived it for nearly three years now, she drags it around, grooms it, plays fetch with it, kills it and sometimes even humps it Grin .

Madam likes soft toys too....she likes to destroy them

She will be all sweet with them for a while, then when you least suspect it, you find bits of fluff around the house and murdered teddy.

No more soft toys for her

Tennis balls, dirtier the better, but recently found a Christmas gift from a couple of years ago with the squeaker intact, he's annoying everyone a lot with it

Ovo eggs
A bunny or duck soft toy
Occasionally a tuggy toy

@TrufflePioneer

Your Border Terrier is a beauty. Very similar in looks to our one

You need to persevere with the soft toys @Soubriquet , mine used to murder everything , now he just removes their extremeties ( ears / antlers/ tails etc ) and lets them live a bit longer . Fluffy turkey has no stuffing in his remaining drumstick as I can’t stand fluff everywhere so as soon as there’s a hole I just remove all the stuffing .

We’ve tried for 3 years. I think I’ll wait till she’s a bit older. I also have to pull fibres from her teeth, so I don’t want to do anything that can harm her

Little shit is fine. She just plays with she toys and is perfectly happy (until madam pinches her off them)

gin we tried the Ovo eggs after a thread on here where people were saying their dogs loved them. They are regarded with great suspicion and studiously ignored! 😂

A clown hand puppet. He doesn't have free access to it but his tail wags like crazy when we get it out.

He's not a massive toy dog really. He's a rescue and lived on the streets until he was a few months old (he's 9 months now). He chases balls but once they've stopped rolling he loses interest. We do have a tuff-e-nuff sheepskin tug toy he likes too, which again no free access to but he goes mad for that.

He liked his frisbee but we chucked it over the neighbours accidentally so that's lost forever, we need to get a new one.

Hes a definite chewer so he has a rubber toothbrush thing and a nylabone.

He sleeps more than he plays though.

Toys get destroyed here but he would walk a million miles for a tennis ball.

Also partial to a sock😂

Ovo eggs are great. You get 4 in an actual egg box and ddog loves picking which one she wants.

And she's quite a small dog so they are the perfect size. Standard tennis balls are too big and awkward for her

They are a nice squidy rubber and because of their shape they bounce randomly which adds to the fun.

Tennis ball for the young dogs.

The oldie loves to destroy the soft toys. We let him do it then loosely restuff with bits of fleece and treats. It keeps him happy for ages pulling out the fleece and eating the treats.

Ovo eggs look fun Smile
