Removing odour from vinyl flooring

Morning all, wondering if any of you dog savy people could help me. We have a rescue dog who we have had a lot of trouble with going to the toilet in our kitchen which has vinyl flooring down the type in one big sheet. She has pretty much every nite weed at least once and usually pooed once sometimes twice. As soon as I get up in the morning I clean it thouroughly and is the simple solution for hard floors but it still smells 😞 I have cleaned it a millions times left it soaking used diluted bleach but if you smell the flooring it smells like stale wee and poo not so obvious unless you are right down smelling it but do get waffs during the day. Also as it has been hot the last couple of days when I come down in the morning and the windows have been shut I can smell it more like when you keep a dog outside on concrete and you always get that stale smell. Anyone know of any tips to sort it? Or is the flooring ruined? Thanks in advance.

Not sure Iif it will help as ours only done it once on the new vinyl (after ruined carpet due to urine smell!!!) Firstly I I scrubbed with a sponge using warm water and washing up liquid.... then mopped up with kitchen roll. I then created a solution of bicarbonate of soda and warm water (half and half), spread the paste over the floor and left for 15 minutes.. again mop up with kitchen roll. Finally sprinkled bicarbonate of soda straight over the floor and left again, then hovered up...seemed to get rid of it for us! X

I am using Simple solution cleaner. You can get it from pets at home or Amazon. I am using it more on vomit these days and it seems to do the job.

I think if you use bleach it encourages a dog to go there again.

Are you sure it hasn't seeped to the edges and into the floorboards?

Simple solutions for hard floors is good. We have wood and it managed to clean it thoroughly.

You need an enzyme cleaner. Pet shop / online should have something.

Go on Amazon and buy Glimmerman kennel cleaner. It has odour neutraliser in it. I use it on all my floors. I use it to get rid of doggy smell as my dogs are out all weather and sleep on the floor. It does say for urine. I use the cherry scent so my house smells like cherry bakewells rather than wet dog.

Bleach will make it worse. Simple solution and nothing else.

However if it still smells after so long, I suspect it's seeped into the underlay which means the whole lot will need replacing.
