For my very food oriented 6 month old pup it has to be when he gets his stuffed kong.

When is your dog’s favourite part of the day?

I’ve had a huge lie in today. The dogs aren’t usually allowed upstairs but the lab has sneaked up and is on the bed looking very pleased with himself.

Otherwise it’s when I put outdoor shoes on and get their leads. Or when it’s nearly 5pm and their inner teatime alarm goes off!

Dinner time! Or when he knows he's going for a walk - when I go to get his collar and lead he goes bonkers Grin

When she's had her breakfast she goes out to the garden to poo and always comes back into the house jumping around as if it's the best feeling in the world.

We have a little play, very gently because she's just eaten, which mostly involves her taking her ball and hiding her head under her blanket with her bum in the air and me finding her.

There are other good times during the day but that's her absolute favourite.

He loves his walks but I also think he loves bedtime as at 10pm he’s ready by the door for his wee and biscuit before going up for a cuddle and a bit of mummy and dog time watching TV in bed .

When DH comes home after work. He always gets a 10 min ball play and he cries and cries when he hears his car in excitement.

Best part of the day for ours is when she realises we are close to the park and you can see her get excited about playing with her doggy pals. When I let her off near her pals her whole body wags with excitement.

I thought HaudMaPup's fave time was when he got his Kong too but its been usurped by a manky old toothbrush that he found yesterday in the bathroom bin. Busy giving it hell on my beanbag right now.

When we get to our local country park.. she gets out of the car and sits expectantly at the gate... then sees her best friend approaching.. her whole body tenses with excitement, as does his, and then we let them off together than they do a 'love scene on the beach' dash towards each other and roll and chase and play.

I never go to that park unless we are meeting him as she won't move til her friend appears! I didn't know that dogs could make such strong friendships until they randomly met about 5 months ago and just loved each other.

Bonus is I have made a new friend as well :)

Any time. Snuggles on the sofa, greeting us in the morning, me going into the garden to mow the lawn but the best time is always walkies!!

Definitely when they are going for walk. If I get my rucksack out that's the happiest as they know its a long hike up the hills.
