Obtaining a copy of a dog’s pedigree

My son and his GF have just taken home a gorgeous golden retriever puppy. They’ve asked if I could send them a picture of our family golden’s pedigree but I can’t find it🙁. I moved house a few years ago so it may have accidentally thrown out, I certainly wouldn’t have thrown it out deliberately. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of her pedigree? I know her place and date of birth and the name and address of the breeder. The breeder is no longer at the address and there are no forwarding contact details. Thanks in advance!

If you know your dog's registered name you can get one from the Kennel Club.

I’ve forgotten her name 🙁. It’s ‘Dollyamber’ something but I’ve forgotten the something! I’ll have a really good hunt for it this w/e, it must be in the house somewhere!

If you can remember her registered name you can look up the pedigree at www.mykc.org.uk/, no need to pay for a paper copy.

If you know either of the parents names you can use that to find offspring names via mykc. You can try just searching the kennel name and that might spark your memory.

If you know the kennel name and the date you'll find it easily. If it turns out that Dollyamber wasn't a kennel name, just try typing it into MyKC and see what comes up.

Just put Dollyamber into the search engine on KC website... with a bit of luck you will find your dog and will be able to order a new Pedigree.
