Partly inspired by the Newfoundland thread.

Never had a dog but love them. Don't touch them unless they come up and say hello and it's ok with the owner.

As well as Newfoundlands I also squealed when I saw MASSIVE Neapolitan mastiff (Hagrids dog). And we saw a corgi with a tall this week 😍.

We're getting ours at the weekend. Jack Russell terrier so not huge or unusual! As I mentioned on the other thread though a bloodhound sometimes walks past my window which causes much excitement each time. Amazing big wrinkly creature!

Love dogs, never had one myself, but parents (mostly) always have.

Like to say hello to any friendly dogs, and always take the time to admire them in the park when having my daily walk! Have preferred and non - preferred types/breeds, but try to be inclusive of all Grin

How refreshing to see a thread from non dog owners that isn't talking about how dogs are the scourge of society. Grin

My dog is the communal dog for the street. They all love her, the kids want her to come out to play all the time, and she will go to anyone for belly rubs.

In normal times I often see this massive furry dog at the Supermarket. No idea on his/her breed, the head is higher than my waist and is absolutely adorable. Like a big cuddly bear.

Unfortunately my DD is scared of big dogs (she can now tolerate small dogs). But I love dog spotting. (As long as peoe don't do the he's friendly line when they see my DD being scared... It was an over friendly dog that made her scared initially!)

Cornish every street needs a communal dog.
There's a fab long haired chihauaha around here. She thinks she's Elizabeth Taylor and trots over to see all the kids when they play out. Her owner is always standing there waiting like an assistant.

I'm a dog walker and everyone knows my beagle Grin

People say hello to him in the streets and stop me to talk about the photos I post of him on local groups!

I'm closed at the moment due to lockdown and Coronavirus but he obviously still needs his walks - he loves all the attention!
