Puppy is 3kg, we have royal canin puppy food. I can't for the life of me figure out what this means at the back. What does the 6 mean?
Just trying to figure out if he gets the whole pouch in one meal or not.
He's 2 months old and is fed 4 times a day a mix of dry and wet food.

How much food???

The 6 means a 2 month old puppy should be eating approximately 6 pouches of this food a day. Assuming no dry food is fed.

That is for a puppy with an expected adult weight of approx 11-25kg. What breed is your puppy?

If you are going to feed wet and kibble, you need to adjust both accordingly. For example, 1 pouch and suitable about of kibble for each of the four meals.

Yes, that means six pouches a day, but only if you feed wet food alone. If you feed a mixture, you need to adjust both accordingly.

Ok that's great, the dry food has a weight so I was looking for the same on the wet.
Reading the guide on combination feeding. We're going to gradually cut the wet food out though I think.
A labradoodle but he is expected to be smaller than average as his dad is a toy poodle, mum generation 1 labradoodle.
We bought the same food the breeder was using but thought I'd get a quicker answer here and I wasn't disappointed 🤣

Yea thats correct.
That being said, go 1-2 pouches less, these guidelines are always overfeeding. Then adjust according to the dogs appearance.
