Puppy and waking up in mornings

She sleeps all through the night know - wake her up for a last wee at about 10.30 or 11 before we go to bed. She's in a crate in the hall outside our room at night upstairs.

13 weeks.

But she wakes up at 6.00...

I hear her start snuffling so I don't know whether to leave her till she whines to get out or try and get to her before then so she doesn't associate whining with being let out.

At 13 weeks I would get up and let her out before she whines, just to keep her house training solid. Maybe gradually increase by about 15 minutes every few days till she can go another hour or so.
The lighter mornings won’t be helping - my 4 year old likes to start her day with the birds🙄

She loves her bed, heads off their at about 9.30. And whinges when I wake her up for last pee and rushes back to bed after.

I think its time I moved her downstairs....

11-6 is great at that age. I’d get up immediately to let her out. Then try and settle her again after if you need more sleep, or leave her with something to do

You need to let her out - she clearly needs the toilet.

You're doing very well to get her going from 11-6 as it is.

My 21 week old wakes at 6. I’m pleased. It was 5! Wink
Early mornings are part of having a dog TBH.

I got my puppy at 8 weeks in the February - we finally stopped the 'halfway through the night pee' in late June, so yours is doing amazingly well. I would take her out after about four hours sleep, so usually about 3 am. On the plus side, she never wet or soiled her crate.
She is still an early riser though. Good job I don't mind early mornings!

Can you just keep her up longer?
That’s what we did, stop her going to sleep at 9.30 push it to 9.45 then 10 and so on. Do something really fun instead so she’d rather stay up.

We used to put ours down at 10pm and he would sleep until 7.30 at 12ish weeks getting later until he 13/14 weeks and then he slept till 8.30 every day.
Now he’s a few months older and tbh he’s a bit put out if we’re up before 10.30
