Looking at these for tug and chase toys to improve recall and attention to me. Have looked at the website and could easily spend a fortune - any recommendations? think the rabbit skin ones might go down well but how do they compare to the sheepskin and faux sheepskin ones? some reviews suggest the fur/sheepskin comes off easily. does the clam work well? Have a show cocker spaniel with slightly iffy recall, high food drive but equally distracted by squirrels, rabbits and the chance of finding food on walks!!

Brilliant toys to be played with together with your dog. Not to be left with the dog to destroy.

The rabbit skin toys are not as hardy as the sheepskin or faux sheepskin. However my lab and wcocker love them. The collies prefer the sheepskin.

I would probably go for the sheepskin for special occasions eg recall with a working cocker.

Pretty much what jinpixie says.

I've tried both the rabbit and sheepskin ones with my whippets and they definitely prefer the latter. I think because they're bulkier and fluffier whereas the rabbit one I've got is quite weedy, the former seem much more satisfying for them to "catch".

I made a flirt pole with one of the sheepskin ones and it stood up really well to some pretty hard use over last summer, it's a bit filthy and smelly but that just seems to make it even more appealing Grin Left to their own devices with them I'm sure they'd destroy them but for supervised play they seem pretty hardy.

My puppy pulled the rabbit skin one off the leash thing within a day.. just normal puppy tugging and chewing. I wasn't impressed and sent them photos... to be fair they replaced it , and the non rabbitskin one they sent me has lasted much better.

She still loves the rabbit skin bit tho!

My terrier goes mad for the fake sheepskin one! It only comes out when I want a high reward and it really works for her.

The sheepskin ones are amazing. I like the bungee cord options as I have a very strong tugger (sbt) so it saves my shoulders.
