The doghouse

He's NOT cute!

Nor funny, he's a very naughty puppy but I love him very much and he is a little heartwarmer.

He's 20 weeks old and a English Springer/Kerry Blue terrier cross and he is bloody hard work but very bright. We have pretty much nailed walking to heel, he has a good recall already and can "sit", "down" and "stand".

On the downside he has legs made of rubber and can spring up on to most surfaces if he puts his mind to it

Sympathies, as I also have a table jumper Grin...... no 'pushing things to the middle' for you. What a lovely looking dog though (definitely cute)

Oh my heart he's gorgeous! Good luck, the energy of a springer with the naughty rebellious streak of a terrier Shock (always had terriers, be firm and put the work in now but my they are fun!)

@Whynosnowyet We're in Suffolk, he needs a playmate that can keep up with him if you are nearby!

I've owned a sprocker and a collie before so I am very firm with him unlike DP, our dog trainer always comments that he behaves better for me than DP and it is paying off. I am currently working on "Out" (as in get out of the kitchen) and sometimes have to put him out 15-20 million times before he does it whereas DP gives up after the third attempt.

Sorry OP, from those pics I beg to differ! He reminds me of those adorable children's picture books about the dog called Plum.

@FurrySlipperBoots Thank you! Our little 3 year old foster daughter will be moving to her forever family soon and that is the perfect book to give her as a goodbye present from Alfred (the dog)!

It looks like photos of 3 different dogs!

I’d be as good as ducking useless in the police 🤣

All 3 of them (🤣) are cute, but especially the first one.

A ES/KBTC CROSS though, what were you thinking?!🤯

@AmelieTaylor We didn't know what dad was until his DNA test came back, he is a rescue from Spaniel Assist Rehome and Rescue. We knew mum was an ESS but dad was unknown (though we guessed he was likely a terrier of some sort). The photo of him lying on the footstool was probably taken at about 12 weeks whereas the other two are more recent.

I've reported you to the RSPCA for talking nonsense about that tiny floofball of cuteness. I will hear no more of this. They will be with you shortly & are bringing him to me, for I will love him & spoil the wee shit rotten! 😂

He will be brilliant when you have put all the hard work in.

Loving the counter-surfing hound, I love a spotty dog! I think they could be good pals.
