Gammy-toothed greyhound - toothpaste/toothbrush recommendations

Can anyone recommend a good toothbrush and toothpaste for a greyhound with gammy teeth and terrible breath? He's had a few extractions and there's another tooth with exposed roots that the vet hummed and hawed about before leaving but it's obviously on its last legs. He has antiseptic gel to rub round his gums afterwards and I had been using that on a finger toothbrush but I don't think it's really doing the job so would love recommendations for both. Ideally the toothpaste would be tasty as he really hates having his teeth done, poor chap.

I do also use Plaque-off in his food regularly (which helps but doesn't solve the problems) and his diet is very healthy.

I have Virbac enzymatic toothpaste that I buy online for my Staffy. She likes to lick the toothbrush afterwards so it must taste nice. I think it comes in various flavours but the company I bought from only offered poultry flavour.
