I know.. it's to be expected..but really?!!
I weathered having four teenagers (at the same time..that was bad planning in retrospect Grin ) and went grey as a result.

Doggo is going to turn me white!

She's just had her first season and now has attitude..in spades. DIdn't want to go out for her last wee walk tonight.. literally rolled on her back and smirked at me as I tried to get her harness on. Then dragged her feet, grumbled and huffed at me. Jumped up at me to snatch treats..something she hasn't done since she was tiny, and now she's lying on the floor giving me the side eye.

It's like having my teen daughters all over again...

Send wine....

Yes, I have one too. Last night he refused to come back into the house. Barked at 11pm, 2am and 5am so each time I got up to let him back in. No, he wanted me to play tag with him - took off running and came back danced around wanting me to chase and play with him. I am grumpy and cranky from lack of sleep - so no treats today.

I am so happy, I thought it was just me. Had dogs all our lives, best trained, clean, happy and friendly, indeed I was a dog snob..I now own two utter hooligans, people avoid passing our house if they have dogs, much embarrassment!

I'm in despair with ours, she's an 11 month old miniature poodle and tbh the biting never really stopped but it's more now. I've asked for advice on a breed specific forum but I got roasted by some people. I've been trying to stop this since we got her, tried all the techniques I could find - standing still, making a loud yelping noise (that riles her up more), getting her to sit, time out, ignoring, apple spray... We are at the point where I'm worried about her biting a child. I may start my own thread to get advice. It happens when she's excited so it isn't particularly aggressive, I think she's trying to play. She gets good walks and puzzle toys. I'm at a loss.

@DuvetDay1212 - I have read somewhere about having two tennis balls on you for a bitty dog and when they get excited and are going to bite you give them a ball and when they drop it you have a second one on you and you pick up the first.

No idea if it works but just in case it helps.

@DuvetDay1212 join Dog Training Advice and Support group on fb. Amazing resources and loads of great advice.

Teenage dogs are arseholes. Especially combined with a human toddler. We are approaching 1 and I am tentatively feeling like things are improving. I mean I haven’t cried yet today sooooooo....
