My au pair opposite is going to walk my dog for an hour as I need to be away. What's the going rate?

I pay £12 for my dog to be collected, walked for an hour and returned clean and dry - he is out the house at least two hours as they collect and return other dogs.

£11, then £7 for additional dogs. That’s for pretty much the same service as @Lonecatwithkitten describes above.

£12, £10 for second dog, for same service as above.

£12.50 per hour for one dog.

Around here it's £10 an hour which includes a dry off afterwards. They're normally out for two hours or so.

But you can pay to have them out for longer for around £18 I believe.

£12 an hour for one dog but he is usually out for about 2 hours by the time she collected/dropped off all the dogs and driven to/from the place to walk them.

(Cambridge price)

We bill £10 for an hour off lead with a group, plus mileage if they're outside the town. We're properly insured etc, which I doubt an au pair is, unless she's your own?

My reading is that she's your neighbour's au pair?

£20 for 2 hours, but she is out of the house for 3-3.5 hours by the time all the dogs have been collected, transported, cleaned, and returned. This is with a fully qualified, insured, DBS-checked (she has a key to our house) dog trainer.

when you say YOUR Au opposite, do you mean the au pair who lives across the road who is not, in fact , YOUR au pair, or do you mean your au pair who lives with you?

If it is the former, have you asked the mum whose au pair she is if she is ok with this arrangement and if it is the latter, you don't need to pay her any more for doing it!

Sleepingboy it's my neighbours au pair and I have checked with her first

What is the au pair going to do with the dog when the DC goes into school?

Or is she dropping the DC then coming back for your dog after ?
Unless they are old to enough to leave them at the gates?

Schools don't let dogs on site (even carried)

Children like my DD who was terrified of dogs (to the extent she would run into the road rather than walk past a dog Sad )

And don't let her tie him , too risky , dogs get stolen .

We pay £10 per 45min-hour for one dog solo walk.

We pay £12 for an hours walk with other dogs. This is with an insured and registered dog walker who is trained in dog behaviour and canine first aid. I'd expect to pay less for someone who was not offering these things. If she's doing it every day then maybe £40 a week?

Thx that's what I was thinking

Whilst it's around £12-15 for an hours walk it's in a group. I would have to pay £20-25 depending on the walker if I wanted individual walks.
