Best Hoover with a Labrador

I know not strictly dog related, we are moving into rented accommodation, in the next few months. Can anyone tell me, what the best Hoover is with a Labrador? I'm hoping to get one in Black Friday sales! Thanks

We have a Dyson Animal cordless v10 and it’s great, it totally fills up every day which is a bit disconcerting and gross when it’s all orange hair (fox red lab). We’ve had it six months and we’ve already gone through two filters though (they do replace them for free). We have a roomba as well and although she picks up loads the dyson will still find dander to suck up afterwards.

There’s a newer version out now as well I think. So the v10 will be in the sales.

Shark liftaway best hoover ever.

We have managed to kill dysons, miele etc

Shark Liftaway is great at dog hair and has not broken and lasted. Wit

Completely off point but I thought Labradors were the best hoover you could get 🤣 maybe not for the fluff though 😃

We have the Dyson Animal v10 with 2 JRTs and a hairy springer.

It does a great job and gets loads of crap off the carpet (mostly fur) but I am always a bit suspicious that Dysons are not built to last. Still, it's going ok for now...

You can get hoovers that come with Labradors? I'm in!

I have the miele cat & dog. It's really good. When my first one died (it was very old) I switched to a bagless one and it was rubbish so I went back to miele.

We had mega battery issues with the V10- it was ok to start with and then would only hold charge for about 10 mins - took 23 hours to recharge. We may have had a dodgy one though although we were sent a replacement battery and that did exactly the same

Can’t help with the actual question but I am imagining a Labrador attachment, like the hose or carpet brush.Grin

We have a Dyson V8Animal but it doesnt cope well with the dog hairs (Golden Retreiever) - I have switched back to my Miele Cat and Dog on the carpets where he goes - brilliant.

We have a black Labrador(6) and a Shark(1), to replace an ancient Dyson that gave up after 10 years, and it is not great.

ddog(6) is in the middle of a big moult for the last 3 weeks and twice we have had to unblock a build up of hair in the vacuum hose using the power washer (cant get into it any other way). Never had this problem with the old dyson.

Then because the hose is wet inside we need to wait at least a couple of days for it to dry fully before using again, and I pray no one visits and sees the deep layer of hair on the carpet!
