.... seriously! I'd like to know!

I imagine a super intelligent and energetic dog that requires a lot of mental and physical stimulation.

Does anyone have one?

A colpoo? Grin

What is the obsession with crossing things with a poodle? It baffles me.

A mongrel, with lots of hair. I had a half collie and it managed to have none of the collie brains Smile

No, not got one here. Too much hair. And if the poodle in my training class is representative of the breed, not my cup of tea either! Lovely dog, but seems more hyper than any collies i've met and less obedient! I guess the collie might bring the obedience gene into the mix, but no guarantee.

A clever dog who doesn't leave hair everywhere! Though my collie hates vets, groomers, being brushed (he's a rugged type of dog) so needing to be clipped would be challenging.

Would we be creating the British version of the Hungarian Puli?

You could create a giant version if you crossed with a standard poodle, or more similar with the toy poodle... actually the giant version of the puli is the Komondor!

A very clever hairy dog with any combination of herding, hunting, nipping and mouthing instincts. Boundless energy and the ability to work all day. May or may not have an 'off' switch.
