The doghouse

Why do they chose to sleep in such perverse places?

I went to look for my dog to take her for a walk.

She wasn't in her bed, or under the footstool where we have put a blanket for her so she can hide in a little "cave" when she wants some peace, she wasn't on the sofa where she can only get on to because we bought her a special set of little doggie steps, she wasn't in the conservatory where she has her own cushion to sleep on if the mood takes her, she wasn't in the kitchen napping in her blanket lined travel box.

I found her on the damp patio, wedged uncomfortably under the clothes aired.

Why, just why? Grin

We were just saying this about my 19yr old terrier. He has lovely comfortable bedding which covers practically half the living room but no, he's always found on the bare floorboards on the landing! Or worse, on the puppy pad...

She's gorgeous BTW, love the idea of little dog steps Grin

God knows.

We bought one of those round, fluffy calming beds that are meant to be the best thing since sliced bread

Massive waste of money, she sleeps wedged between the bed and the side of her crate

Snap.
My dog has an extra large super comfy dog bed in my bedroom but will choose to sleep on the floor next to it instead.

I found my old doberman fast asleep on a pile of coat hangers one time, she looked so comfortable, I really can't see how it was though!

I’ve got two beds for mine. There’s also a blanket in a third place for her to lie on. She lies on the wooden floor until one of her legs goes numb and then limps about for a couple of minutes until it wakes up again.

She's extra cute and fluffy today because she had a groom yesterday.

These are her doggie sofa steps (please excuse the state of them Blush)

That is too cute Smile actually mine does tend to sleep in usual places, in his bed, on the sofa, on the floor or on our bed.

Mine prefers a spot on the path wedged up against the garage door, or relaxing in the little alley down the side of the house by the bins. Currently in the middle of the landing with her head up against the banister even though there are many snugglier spots close to where I'm working (she likes to keep an eye on me). They're so weird but it's part of what makes them so awesome.
