Dog poo - what do you do with yours?

I was wondering what everyone does with the poo they pick up in their own gardens? I pick it up in poo bags, put it in a black bin liner which I put in our black wheelie bin on rubbish day. Should I be doing this? Done it for years and can't think of another way to do it.

I flush it down the loo. But he is only a tiny pup so his poos aren’t massive.

I put the garden poo in the bushes but we have raised borders and a wildflower bit that the kids don't go in to. If we were visiting somewhere else, I'd do the same as you

We do the same as you but I am considering getting a hot box composter to dispose of it

We have a thing called a green cone. Its a decomposer but you don't use the resulting
Compost . It just seems to disappear. We have a dog poo scoop and we put it in there.

We had a green cone and it was amazing, so much better than using bags and putting them in the bin as there was no smell at all and they weren't hanging around for 2 weeks until the bin was emptied. Also avoided plastic bags

We also use a green cone - it is amazing gets rid of all poo. I think it uses magic.

Is the green come the same as the food composted one?

I lift the man hole cover and put it down there (obviously not in a bag or anything) it's where the human poo goes so I assume it's alright.

the manufacturer says you shouldn't put dog waste into the green cone. Has it been problem free for those of you using it for this?

@kjhjkj Our green cone says it is fine for dog poo (obviously not bagged poo)

It wouldn't be possible to install a green cone in my yard (and nor could I justify £99 at the moment) for insurmountable reasons.

I go on poo patrol every day or two, shovel up what I find with a trowel and put it in a biodegradable poo bag, then put it in the wheelie bin. Not perfect but there you go.

Do you know which one it is @jouska. That would be perfect for us.

I bag it and put it in our waste bin, it gets cleaned once a month so I'm not bothered about the smell.

I'm with you @SlothMama. Smells no worse than when nappies we're going in Smile

Put it in garage, then take it with us on morning dog walk to put in first poo bin we pass.

@kjhkj I've looked all over ours but can' see any specific type/make on it. We have had it several years. It just says Green cone - sorry to be unhelpful.
