We got a delivery of dog food (meat), we bulk buy a month's worth as it's cheaper and easier. After opening, we realised that almost all the packets were open - as in the plastic lid had become un-stuck on one side/one corner, etc. I've complained to the company, so am expecting them to replace them (hopefully!), but what do we do with all of this that we already have? It seems such a waste to just throw it all away. Could we put it in a chest freezer and take some out a day in advance? Would that kill any bacteria that may be there? I have no idea how long they've been open for. There are 72 packets in total
