Is that right?

I went on the dog food rating site and it says butchers grain free puppy scores 90% nutritionally vs forthglade grain free puppy at 85%.

Is that right?

I am looking for a wet grain free puppy food to just mix a small amount in with his grain free dry (he has allergies)

I don't know much about this, but the US FDA recently implicated certain grain free dog foods in heart disease. It has been in the media this week. You might want to check it out.

The way I use the website is to get a number of brands at a high rating to compare.

I then look at cost as some are ridiculously high to feed daily (saying that I use one that's just under £2 a tin but I alternate with one that's around £1.30 a tin).

I then look at meat content as I prefer to feed at least 60 meat.

I then look at how easy it is to order and get delivered and bulk delivery options.

I then finally decide by whether my dog actually likes to eat it because some flavours and brands of dog food he will not eat no matter what the rating.

Wet foods I typically feed are Forthglade, millies wolfheart and carnilove. I haven't tried the butchers but that's because I now have enough different brands and varieties my dog likes on a regular basis.

I notice you said your dog has allergies. Is it grain he has a problem with or certain proteins as well or both? Have you been advised to do an elimination diet to work out what he's allergic to?
