The doghouse

Thanks to my fluffy dog, my poor hoover is on its last legs.

I need advice from fluffy dog owners. We have a Husky/German Shepherd/Akita Cross. She's a pure white fluffy cloud. We're brushing her every two days, hoovering every day but the fur has finally defeated my hoover. It can barely keep up now. Unfortunately we have to keep the carpets in the bedrooms and living room as we rent or I'd replace them and life would be marginally easier.

So my question is what hoover do you recommend if you have long haired dogs who shed a lot? Thanks in advance.

Do Shark do an animal version? I've heard they are brilliant.

Thanks everyone.
@TopBitchoftheWitches they have 'true pet technology' but I have no idea what that means in a practical sense.

I'd love a cordless hoover but with our fluffball I don't think I'll ever have a chance. I'd never change her for the world though. Fluffy dogs make the best feet warmers!

We also have a Miele c3 cat and dog with our basset hound that sheds a lot, doing really well. Bought it as parents in law have the same model with lots of animals, it's great.

Shark liftaway. Best hoover ever for dog hair.

We killed a dyson in 6 months , our miele lasted 18 months. We have had a Shark for 4 years and still as good as new (and it has headlights what not to like Smile)
