Looking for some advice please.
A few weeks a go we found a grape sized lump on the dog. Dog is a 4 year old goldie. We took him to the vets who aspirated. Results back today showed it is a kerotonising lesion (probably spelling that wrong :D) and that it is most probably not cancerous. Hurrah!!
However vet thinks it should be removed under anesthetic anyway as these kind of lumps can be liable to rupture/get infected apparently. The vet also said this way it can be sent off to the lab and you would know for definite it's not cancerous.
The dog is his usual happy self and the lump doesn't seem to be sore or bothering him even when we touch it.
Anyone have any experience/advice? Thanks
