i have 2 frenchies and their farts used to be awful and constant! I recently changed their food and it's worked wonders, still do the odd one but not a constant stench!

Changing food to one the suits your dog definitely helps with output (solid or gas).

Tails is a over priced gimmick . Have you tried putting their recipe into allaboutdogfood? Pretty sure the score was mediocre for the price.
