Changing from WFH to office, impact on dog

I work from home and have done since I have had my dog, she is a 2 year old golden retriever.
There is a potential new job, still early stages so I am completely getting ahead of myself but I am thinking about this change and how it will impact her. Currently, I walk her in the morning and lunchtime and she sleeps a lot of the day.
Could she go to daycare 5 days a week? She is very sociable and enjoys playing with other dogs but I am worrying this would be a huge change for her.
I wouldn't like to think of her being alone all day except for a dog walk at lunchtime, could I get a dog Walker to come twice a day maybe for 2 days and daycare for 3?

Or would this change be too much and I shouldn't think of doing this?

Like I say, very early days but don't want to proceed if not going to work for my girl. All thoughts and experiences very welcome.

My dog does a few days a week in daycare and has done so since being a puppy.

I think it's important to pick your daycare carefully. Large busy daycares don't suit him but smaller ones e.g. dog walkers who also do daycare do.

I know he loves it because if I am at home and he gets picked up he is extremely excited and doesn't look back as he runs to her car.

Can you afford to put her in for the odd day now so you can see how she finds it as well as giving you time to assess the daycare. I don't walk mine on daycare days (and sometimes on other days to give him a rest) because he is tired having 1-2 walks anyway coupled with playing with other dogs.

I wouldn't bother with two dog walkers in a day because I think you will find that daycare works out cheaper and she will get more company.

Why don't you try both and see how she is? Could you book a walker and go out for the day a d see if you can get a trial day at daycare? Friend has a lab who does day care 4 days a week and loves it. Friend does a compressed week so has a Wednesday off. As dog is getting older she's considering a walker a couple of days instead of day care as dog is less active.

I have a 3 year old Goldie who goes to daycare about once a fortnight
He is very sociable and enjoys it but he had to go 2 days in a row this week and yesterday he was really naughty ( May or may not be related but very unlike him)
I think 5 days would be far too much for him, he would be exhausted!
In your shoes I would do daycare 2 or 3 days with a dog walker the other days.
