Dog bed recommendations

So we have a lovely but rather large Labrador puppy who will not long grow into a huge Labrador dog! He is currently in a hard dog bed but it's looking too small for him. We are looking for a new bed but struggling.

When left alone he is in a small puppy proof room and a bigger plastic bed would take a lot of room. When we tried a fabric bed he either humps it or destroys it. We found a more robust fabric bed but he chewed it terribly.

So we are looking for something very large, very robust and possibly flat so he can 'lounge'.

Any ideas gratefully received!

We've got a Tuffies bed. Our cocker and sprocker share the XL size, and have more than enough room each in it.

It doesn't smell, is easy to clean and the best bit is that the puppy hasn't chewed any of it.

I've heard good things about the HiK9 beds - they're not cheap but they are raised and flat, and they do replacement parts in case of chewing www.hik9.com/

Got a cheaper version of hik9 from amazon. Its great, ddog loves it.

We have Tuffies. the mattress is waterproof (you can hose it down) and the covers are easy to remove and wash. Not cheap, but sturdy.

They do a version for committed chewers

We have an Orvis bed. It will last our dog for life. They are hideously expensive but I was very lucky and found one locally on gumtree for £50, unused because their dog wouldn’t lie in it

Tuffies. I've been meaning to start a thread on them actually. It was expensive (£70-80) but I was buying £25 beds and binning. If you Google Tuffies you will see reviews saying that people have had theirs for 10 years and I quite believe that.
