My only advice would be start as you mean to go on, get him used to being left as soon as possible (as beagles often have separation anxiety) and practise his recall constantly - use a longline if necessary.

Mine isn't brilliant around other dogs - he gets overly excited and I think other dogs read him the wrong way!

He is a cockapoo. Health checked to the nth degree. Not puppy farmed.
Rejected as a disabled aid dog as too laid back
Goes to classes every week but has a penchant for socks

Another one with a not proper dog. Meet Lionel the cockapoo. He’s just had a haircut and is much curlier when he gets longer. Either way we love him.

I also get mines not a proper dog and “they shouldn’t keep breeding them”
She has got the best bloodlines and also had multiple tests. I do love cockapoos tho! I can’t walk down the street without my toddler stopping at every. Single. Dog 😩
