Any recommendations? Just for dog walking, not trekking up mountains. Like the look of these ones:

Just seen they're not waterproof though!

Decathlon do waterproof ones too. Best value I've found.

As an aside: how bloody cheeky that these companies started making walking boots which aren't waterproof: the ones from sports direct don't even make it clear...until your DC is in a muddy field at camp with trenchfoot. bastards!

Interested to see the responses on here as I'm also looking for a decent dog walking boot, but the do need to be waterproof.

Currently still wearing my wellingtons.

Yard boots are a good shout, hadn't thought of that. I have riders insurance with Harry Hall and their discount is great. These look good...

They look very similar to the woof wear ones I have , I like the fact that they are Velcro not lace up .

Popped into Sports Direct today and picked up some Karimor Mountain boots. Fully waterproof for £37 👍

Just back from an hours walk around the woods and they're really comfortable. Feet are toasty warm, sized up to a 7 (usually a 6) and they're supportive without being restrictive. Fingers crossed they hold up!

I got some in Aldi last week! £19.99, waterproof, lightweight, warm, vegan (which is important for me), and really comfy so far!

Bring brutally honest the words decent and cheap do not go together for walking boots. Really good quality boots should last years - at least 500 miles of walking. Poor quality boots will last for fewer miles and will end up being a false economy. My Brasher boots that cost £120 20 years ago are still in excellent condition ( they get treated regularly), my DP has karrimor pair that are 7 years old and cost £70 that are falling to pieces.
It maybe worth looking at a Go Outdoors card for £5 that then gives you 10% discount of the full price.

I walk my dog whatever the weather and my advice would be to avoid the fabric gore tex walking boots, in my experience they all leak sooner than later.
I have a pair of scarpa leather walking boots, they are supremely comfy and have been waterproof for the couple of years I have owned them and I anticipate many more years of dry, comfy feet!
