There is an enquiry into the fireworks, and there is a link to a survey into this.

Please read and do the survey.

Yep, there have been lots of petitions but nothing done before.

Organised, legal fireworks are one thing but there are illegal ones getting imported & they are way louder. They are used as weapons against first responders (Edinburgh had running riots in 2017), cause veterans & people with learning difficulties distress, not to mention the animals.

My dog is distressed for days after the noise. Plus I know people who have lost horses, etc.

I know, but it seems there will be an inquiry and the survey will be helpful to back it up.

It's not just dogs, they ask about other animals and wildlife.

I’ve signed many competitions and watched the debates in Parliament. Nothing seems to change though.

I know we have been worn down by it, but it's a small effort and if can help then it will be worth it.

Private fireworks are so irritating and unnecessary. Luckily ddog isn't too bothered by them but a really loud one went off whilst myself, ddog, my housemate and her dog was outside last year. Despite seeing it go up it made me and housemate jump. It took her dog hours to stop shaking.

Random ones going off in daylight kept waking my terminally ill husband up. Not only did they go off at random times for weeks but they disturbed him and made him jump when he was trying to rest.
