Help me with my dogs wind!

So I got a Boston Terrier a couple of weeks ago and I absolutely adore her. Trouble is, the farting absolutely stinks.
She does it a couple of times an hour but in other peoples houses it seems to be every 5 minutes! Maybe I'm just more aware of it when I'm at other peoples houses with her but it's terrible.

Does anyone else's dog have this issue and have found things to help reduce the wind? It's enough to clear a room, she stinks!

They're on the wrong food. Mine never have wind unless they've eaten something contraband. Mine are on Millie's Wolfheart with some added home cooked chicken every so often for a treat.

Having said that, my 14 week old puppy ate her own body weight in sheep poo yesterday. Our DDs refused to sit in the living room, the wind was so toxic coming out of her Grin. We had the window open all evening.

I just kept her on the food that the people I got her from had her own (she's 10 months) but will definitely look into changing her food!

Lol god aren't they disgusting sometimes 😂

Definitely food!! I would get her on a good quality food - Millie's Wolfheart as PP mentioned is very good. Mine are on Akela. When I rescued my beagle, he was on some cheap crap & his farts cleared the room.

You can look on this site & they rate dog foods www.allaboutdogfood.co.uk

It’s the food. Mine can strip wallpaper if I feed tripe. Grin

Change the food Grin

On the wrong food, Battendog's were slow moving but deadly. It took them 10 mins to get across a room but, if you knew they were coming, it was like torture waiting for them...

Change of home can often upset stomachs. Our poor ddog got horrendous diarrhea for about a week when he arrived. It settled after a couple of weeks. What food is your dog on?? I did a bit of research then gradually changed to the food he is on now. Decent dried high fish no wheat food which suits him perfectly 🙂. He farts maybe twice a week - lovely little sound!!! Very smelly but very rare!!

My dog also strips paint with his arse. Will look into the Millie's Wolfhart food I think

Mine only scores a 3.7 but ddog is happy, with shiny eyes, bags of energy and lovely fur. Works for us ❤️

Different food suits different dogs! Just change over slowly.

If she's doing it more in other houses, it's likely to be stress related.

Especially if you've not had her long.

😂 mine are loud and whiffy after tripe - well I'd go so far as to say they can clear a room. Charcol has helped in the past.

My eldest farted so loud the other day she turned round in surprise 😂
