Dry puppy food

We have a 6 month old pug puppy.
We are feeding him on Tails food.
It was suiting him & then they added something to it & it seems to have upset his stomach.
He is pooing so much. Last night for instance he did a poo less than 2 hours after he did one on his bed.
He's not been making it through the night either.
His stools are not right either.

Anyway it looks like we need to change his dry food.
Any recommendations? It's like a mine field!
Brands I'm interested in is Arden Grange? IAMS? AVA from pets at home?
Any others?

Personally I don’t feed my dogs kibble but if I did it would be Eden or Millie’s Wolfheart.

I mainly feed wet now as my dog struggles to digest kibble. When I did feed kibble I used millieswolfheart.

allaboutdogfood.co.uk is good for comparing costs and quality across brands.

HI OP - we had a similar problem and were recommended breed-specific Royal Canin.

It’s been great; less poo, firm consistency, very little wind - days 👍

I use a company called Essentials. My rummy sensitive terrier loves it and no poo problems

Have you thought about wet food instead?

Generally more digestible than kibble and with a good quality brand, there will be less waste produced. High moisture content better on the kidneys too!

Naturediet, Natures Menu, Wainwright’s, Lily’s Kitchen, Edgar & Cooper. All very good Smile

If definitely wanting to stick with kibble, I like to use Lily’s Kitchen or Edgar & Cooper. My pup loves both (fed soaked).
