Advice on puppy

We have had her a few weeks now and she's settled in nicely but just looking for some advice as she will soon be allowed out in to the big bad world.

She has her second vaccination tonight at the vets and we will be taking his guidance but is there a chance this will make her poorly? Just feeling a bit of puppy parent guilt and want to make sure we are prepared if we're going to have a sicky pup.

She is BTW the prettiest puppy that ever existed :) :)

Just the stress/excitement of going to the vets might make your puppy very tired afterwards.

Thanks Bitey. She lives a good nap anyway so might be hard to tell 😊

YABU to say she is the prettiest puppy that ever existed without also posting a photo!

Not poorly but she could be very sleepy afterwards. All the sights/sounds/smells can be a lot to process. My dog was shattered the day after his second injection. I was active on a breed specific forum at the time and so relieved to find it was normal.

You are taking her out and about already ? Just carrying her rather than letting her be on the ground?

What a cutey Smile

Yes we've taken her a few places wrapped in a blanket where we know there won't be any dogs.

She cried her wee eyes out at the vets and we felt like the worst puppy parents ever

Don't worry, lots of noise and smells can be very scary to a puppy in an alien place.

Take her to look at dogs at a distance and get used to things -she needs to being see a lot at this age to get used to things
