Changing dog walker ?

Had dog walker for around 5 years and am fond of her. But have had some doubts of late. Couple of incidents with dog bites in the pack which she has not dealt with firmly enough, has always turned up late in the mornings, another client said she has left several dogs in her small flat when dog sitting and had gone out for the evening, my dog sometimes appears reluctant to go with her now. She is anxious and prickly about criticism. Had her dog walker friend a couple of times and she appears fantastic. Thoughts?

Go with your gut feeling and trust your dog, if she's reluctant there has to be a reason.

I think you have to have trust in your dog walker and it sounds like, for whatever reasons, that you don't. I would therefore find someone else.

I trust mine to look after BiteyDog 100% and can't imagine handing over if I didn't.

Trust your dog. And your gut. If dog is reluctant I'd ditch the sitter!

I changed my walker because dd was home sick once and dd said walker had to drag dog out from under the table where she was hiding. Apparently walker laughed and said dog was like this every day.

We now have a walker who the dog flings herself at.

@CrazyDeamonDog BiteyDog driving me mad demanding ball play every 2 mins Grin. Hmm maybe I should think about a festive name change as well Grin

OP I took BiteyDog to be boarded by my dog walker and he almost pulled my arm off trying to run into her house. That's what you want to see as you know they love being with them.
