Puppy Blues ... and Out the Other Side!

That's it really. "Puppy" is now 17 months old, still insane, still barking at trucks, still insisting on going for loooong walks … (surely I should have lost some weight doing all these walks by now!)

What I hate is the lack of freedom, of spontaneity, the tie that he is to our lives. I work from home and so am with him most of the time. We wouldn't leave him for longer than 2 hours on his own and to have weekends away, or even days out without him, requires planning weeks in advance.

But we love him. We are acutely aware that, to him, we are his entire world and he is, without doubt, one of the most spoilt pooches on the planet. To see our DC rolling around on the floor with him is absolutely priceless - I'm sure I can see the dog laughing with them. He is a joy to be around and, insane or not, is the best-tempered, daftest, cuddliest soul I know.

And I've become an expert at using the VAX too!

It’s a lovely feeling isn’t it. I was really ill when our pup arrived and found it all very hard. She’s 9 months old now and is absolutely delightful.
