I boiled up some liver last week and froze it in chunks for training treats. I have accidentally defrosted the lot.
Don’t think I can refreeze so does anybody have a recipe for liver cake that I can do with ready cooked liver? Or any other suggestions other than ddogs...gimme the lot NOW😁

It’s not what you would call a recipe, but this is what works for me...
Some liver
Sardines/tuna
Apples (tinned is fine but not sweetened)
Organic peanut butter (no xylitol)
Carrots (tinned/frozen)
Leftover meat of any kind
Couple of eggs
Flour. (Whatever I have in the cupboard)
Blend up everything except flour into the worlds worst smoothie.
Add flour till it looks like cake batter.
Pour into greased tin.
Cool till it’s done in the middle. Little bit sticky is fine.
Allow to cool, cut into chunks and freeze or whatever.
Sorry it’s not very technical, but there’s a reason I bake for Dogs not humans lol.

I made some last week following this recipe,
Blitz 250g liver in food processor till nearly liquid, chuck in 1 egg, 8 tablespoons plain flour, 8 tablespoons milk. Pour onto roasting tin lined with greaseproof paper and bake in medium oven for around half an hour. Leave to cool then chop into bits and try not to throw up.

You could also make 'jerky' with it. Cut the liver into small pieces, and bake in a medium oven until dry. It will then keep for weeks in your pocket and most dogs love it.
