Help with Puppy Names!

This little guy is coming home soon! He's a St. Bernard x Bernese. We are stuck for names. My dd wants 'Bob', Dh wants 'Bear' and I like 'Loki' or 'Thor'. Ds' suggestion is 'Chewtoy' and has been largely discounted 😂

Any suggestions?

I like Bear. Or Moose grin

Moose is a good one! I'll add it to the mix. Need one that's good for shouting! grin

Go for Loki. Please. You have to. I wouldn’t tell you any different.

He looks like a Malcolm to me. However, that might be a bit of a mouthful, so I'd maybe shorten it to Malkie iiwy.

Good for shouting

I saw some good advice on another thread once. Basically, for any name you're thinking of, imagine shouting '[NAME] FOR FUCK'S SAKE!' across a field. On that basis, I would say Thor's out, sorry grin

Some comedian's dog is called Potato, which will stay with me forever. I think it is absolutely hilarious gringringringrin

My friend's St Bernard is called Buddy which suits him so I'll suggest Buddy.

I like Moose!

Much continuing discussion! Dh has now suggested Albus (Dumbledore) with Albie for short. Following that Ds suggested Sirius (Black). This is taking more discussion than naming my children did! 😂
